Prayer For Jan. 15th

January 15, 2019

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

So many are struggling to find peace in their circumstances … many are trying to find physical strength to overcome illness, lack of sleep, pain, weariness and overwhelming grief…you are standing with outstretched arms, just waiting for each of us to hand over our burdens and cares and all the things that no one would ever ask for, or want…but you are not anyone…you are the Lord of all… so full of love, compassion, mercy and grace…how often we fail to remember we don’t have to wait until our circumstances are better to receive Your peace … the peace that defies understanding and circumstances…you offer it now…to anyone who is willing to trade their cares, sorrows, fears, failures, anxieties, and turmoil for your peace…you offer it to those who are in hospitals or those who are stuck at home in bed…to caregivers…to those in abusive or unhealthy relationships … to those who are in a pit of depression and those who are confined in the darkest prison cells…there is no place we can go, that you are not there … there is no pit so deep, that your love, grace and mercy and light cannot reach down to us. We are so grateful that you can redeem any situation, heal all that is broken and restore all the enemy has stolen. We are grateful that the darkness is not dark to you.

May we all find the strength and faith to step out and trust you in ways we’ve never known before…may we learn to praise you in the midst of adversity… may we be able to bear witness to the fact that your joy is our strength… that you are good, even when our circumstances are not…that You are faithful, even when we are not.

We thank you for the hope that awaits us. We thank you that one day all the wrongs will be made right…that one day we will see everything that has been clouded and hidden from our vision…we thank you that one day we will fully understand how all these trials and all the adversity worked for our good and your glory. We thank you, that by the blood of Jesus, we are made whole, pure, holy and blameless. We love you Lord. Thank you for giving us this day and for walking with us in it. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Praying you come to know Him and love Him in new ways!

In His love,
Debbie
