Prayer For Jan. 30th

January 30, 2019

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Father,

We lift all those who are being affected by acts of nature today. We pray for those who are without power and are dealing with storms and cold temperatures. We pray for those who are dealing with floods and all who are still dealing with the aftermath of disasters that others have moved on from and forgotten about.

We ask for protection over those who work in public and emergency services. We thank you for people who put their lives on the line and sacrifice their comfort to help take care of others. Please give them strength and endurance for all that needs to be done. We ask for your blessing to be upon those who serve us and protect us, day in and day out.

We ask for your protection and deliverance for those in need. We ask for ways of escape and removal of fear, for all who are dealing with things most of us can’t imagine. We ask for your comfort for those who are grieving the loss of loved ones…for those who do not know what has happened to their loved ones…for those who are in harm’s way. We especially lift up the children who are suffering in the world…we ask for you to protect them, provide for them, deliver them, comfort them…may they feel your nearness.

We are grateful that when there is suffering, you are not distant… you are as close as a breath away… filling us with your Holy Spirit, giving us comfort, strength and power. You are The Word that was made flesh that dwells among us. You are near to us, you hear our cries and you have us firmly in the palm of your hand. One day you will make right all the wrongs, you will heal all the wounds and you will redeem each tear. One day you will lift up and put first, all who have been last in this life. There will be no more death, sorrow, hunger, suffering, violence or evil and we will dwell in your house for ever.  Help us to seek your joy and seek your presence…may we see your love and light shine through the dark and dreary days. May our hearts be filled with hope and be set on the eternal. Help us to live with an attitude of gratitude and an awareness of how blessed we are just because we are yours.  In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

May the Lord bless you and make His face shine upon you!

In His love,
