Prayer For Feb. 22nd

February 22, 2019

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for keeping us safe through the night and for allowing us to see this new day. We lift up to you all who didn’t get refreshing sleep and all who are starting the day out tired and weary. Please pour out your grace, strength and mercy this morning. We reach out to touch the hem of your garment to receive from you. We ask you to meet us at the place of our deepest and greatest need. We want only what you think is best for us. We know anything you allow to touch our lives is part of a greater plan that only you can see. You also tell us to knock, seek and ask and to pray without ceasing, so we are asking according to your will to heal, to open your storehouses, to give relief, to protect and to help us rise up and walk forward in this day filled with what only you can give.

Father, please forgive us for the times when we take you for granted…for the times we say we are too busy…the times we put everything else before you…the times we don’t give you the respect and adoration that you deserve. Forgive us for the times we disappoint you and let you down. For the times we don’t trust as we should or do the things you ask us to do. Help us to do better and be better. Help us to make the most of each day and to treasure them as the precious gift they are. Help us to fulfill the purpose and calling you’ve placed on each of our lives. Help us to live with a “can do” attitude… confident not in our own abilities, but in yours that are within us. Help us to remember that one faith filled person can do extraordinary things. Help us to have a willing, brave heart that is unafraid to say “yes” to you. Help us to be that shining light on a hill that points the way to you. Please renew a right spirit within us and  help us to cast off all the chains that the enemy has used to keep us as a prisoner in places you never intended for us to be.

We commit our lives to you…we commit this day to you…we commit our families to you and we ask that this day you will be glorified in all that we think, say and do.  We thank you that we have a risen Savior in whose name we can ask  these things. Amen.

Blessings upon you friends!

In His love,
