Prayer For June 1st

June 1, 2020

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

We pray today for those who have hurt us, whether intentionally or unintentionally. We pray for those who are so damaged from hurts, traumas, or upbringings that they lash out and inflict pain on others. May they find help, healing, and their way to you. May generational patterns, cycles, and chains be exposed and broken. May the enemy lose the grip he has had to rob and destroy lives. May people find the hope and courage needed to make changes that will help them to break free from anything toxic, abusive, or destructive. May we walk in your freedom and with your wisdom.

Please help us to let go of any anger, bitterness, or unforgiveness that we might be harboring in our hearts. Please heal us from the pain and grief that comes from loss. Help us to change what we can, and let go of all that is not ours to carry. We can’t always share our deepest pain with others. Some wounds we carry go so deep they have altered or changed us down to our brain chemistry. Trauma often impacts us in ways we don’t even realize. We ask for your healing hand to be upon us in every area of our lives. Help us to live victoriously through you. Thank you for grieving with us and for seeing us through our hard times. Thank you for redeeming our trials, pain, and losses. We are all works in progress, but by your stripes and grace, we will be made whole and healed.

May our earthly homes be a place of peace and contentment. May they be a place where your love abounds, and your spirit resides. May we be strong and healthy in every way, and we ask that you make our relationships to be strong and emotionally healthy as well. We surrender all to you, and we look forward to what you will do. In the name of Jesus, we ask these things, Amen.

May your day be filled with peace!
In His love,
Debbie
