Prayer For June 9th

June 9, 2021

Hello, Friends! I felt led to repost this prayer today…

Our Father,

You tell us when we wait on you, we will renew our strength. We will mount up with wings like eagles and run and not grow weary. You created the eagle to rise above storms by soaring high above them. Because of you, it glides in peaceful solitude, unaffected by dangerous winds and the troublesome weather below it. It renews its strength when it no longer has to fight against the buffeting winds and raging storms.

We may not physically be able to rise above or detour from the figurative storms we are in, but spiritually, emotionally, and mentally we can with your help. The closer we get to you, things seem so different…things become calmer, more peaceful, brighter, and clearer. Being in your presence helps us rise above the noise and troubles of our lives. We give you all praise, glory, and honor, The Creator of All, our Bright Morning Star, and The Light of the World. We are more grateful than our words can convey for all you are and all you do. Thank you for the examples you give us in nature to help us understand your Word and truth and all you make possible for us.

May your light illuminate the darkness around us and guide us on the path that leads to you. May we renew our strength as we wait on you and rest in you. Thank you for being our shelter and refuge in the storms of life. Thank you for the peace and comfort you offer and for the many blessings you give us each day. Thank you for equipping us and sustaining us. We lift your name on high, Lord. We humble ourselves before you and thank you that we can come to your throne of grace in Jesus’ name. Amen.

May you find renewed hope and all you need to soar today, friends!

Much love in Him,

Isaiah 40:28-31 AMP
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding. He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might, He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted; But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.
