Prayer For Oct. 16th

October 16, 2017

Hello, Friends! I’m feeling led to re-post this prayer today…

Dear Lord,

Today we lift up to you all who are struggling with depression. We ask you to put your healing hand upon them and remove the dark veil that seems to cloud their days…please remove any feelings of confusion, apathy, lethargy, numbness, anger, hopelessness or despair that can go along with depression… please help anyone who is struggling with repetitive or negative thoughts…We ask for those who are feeling overwhelmed, trapped or without options…for those who are feeling like they need to run… or need a way out…Lord, please speak peace and anoint them with a sense of calm that can only come from you.

We pray that you would help those who have poor coping strategies for stress and grief. We ask for those who feel overwhelmed and overburdened to find relief. We ask for you to remove the darkness and despair that envelops those who are suffering through depression, anxiety or other health issues. We ask you to lead and guide and provide for anyone who is in need of the right doctor to help diagnosis and treat what is at the root of all of their symptoms…We ask Lord, for you to balance brain chemistry and level out hormones. We pray that you would relieve insomnia and PTSD. We pray for anyone who has a health condition that causes depression. We pray for those whose pain is caused by grief… We pray for healing for every issue and we ask that you would do what no doctor has done or can do.Like the men who brought their paralyzed friend to you for healing, we are lifting up all who are in need to you and ask you to heal that they might be healed.

We pray that you would surround each person with caring, understanding people so they will not feel judged, condemned or misunderstood. We pray for all who love someone who suffers with depression or mental health illnesses. It’s hard to watch those we love suffer. We ask for miracles…we ask for strength…we ask believing that anything is possible through you. Please do a mighty work among us and bring hope… turn the darkness and the grayness of life, into vibrant colors that each one can only dream of. Renew, restore and redeem what has been taken and what the enemy has meant for harm. We ask for your favor and blessing to be upon everyone praying. We thank you that by Christ’s stripes we are healed. Please neet each need …spoken and unspoken… Lord. We thank you in advance for what you will do. In the name of Jesus we ask these things, Amen.

May you find healing and blessed relief friends!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For Oct. 14th

October 14, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Sometimes life and grief come at us in such powerful waves we feel like our feet are being knocked out from under us and we will be swept away and overpowered by all that we face…help us to remember that we are held by you and you promise to never let go…

You know our innermost thoughts and feelings…you know the secret things we deal with…the things that people might not see on the outside…you know all the things that people don’t understand about us or our situations…you know the weariness and the difficulties and you know how often we feel ill-equipped to keep going on…thank you  for your unfailing love, compassion, grace, mercy and peace…thank you for being our closest confidant, our greatest ally, our biggest supporter and our unending source of encouragement … please meet us where we are at today… please guide us to smoother, calmer waters… we know that sometimes you don’t choose to calm the storms, but you choose to calm us in the midst of the storms…may we be at rest no matter what we face, because you are with us and there is no safer place to be than in your presence…help us to remember that faith is believing in advance what will only make sense in the future…help us trust that you have not brought us this far to fail us now and you will watch over us today and every day of our lives until you call us home…how grateful we are for your nearness and faithfulness, Lord. With grateful hearts we thank you that we can ask these things in the name of our Savior, Jesus. Amen

May God Bless you today and always friends!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For Oct. 13th

October 13, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for your goodness and faithfulness. We thank you that we can have joy in the midst of our difficult circumstances. We thank you for the assurance that although not everything that touches our lives is good, you are always good. We thank you that we can have confidence knowing that you will bring fruit from our trials, grief, loss and adversity.

You tell us to count it all joy when we have trials and the only way we can do that is to have faith in you, your Word and your promises. Our joy is not found in circumstances, but in you being with us in the midst of our circumstances. Our pain is not wasted… you are working everything together for good for those who love you…even though it looks at times like we are being torn down and torn apart, you are actually building us up into someone who resembles Jesus and it is His characteristics that we will carry with us into eternity.

You don’t promise us that we will always be happy… but you do tell us we can have your joy…happiness cannot live where there is sorrow, but your joy can…your joy can rise from our sorrow…your joy changes our suffering into endurance and endurance into character and character into hope and that hope is also part of our joy… your joy is our strength…what a blessing…thank you, Lord!

Thank you, Lord for giving us faith to believe and experience the things that make no sense in the natural. Thank you for giving us what no one else can. Help us to view our difficulties as opportunities to see you work…. Help us to stay steadfast and to not let the enemy, our circumstances or the world steal our joy.

Father, please touch each person reading this prayer. I pray they will feel your joy well up inside of them. I pray they will find your peace no matter what they are going through. I pray they will find that stubborn joy that you offer that helps them to rejoice in the midst of pain, knowing you are faithful and working in the midst of everything, whether we can see it or not. May they rise up with renewed strength, renewed courage, renewed boldness and renewed hope…

We praise you and thank you Lord, for who you are, for all you do and for your amazing grace and love for us. We give you this day and all that’s in it. May we glorify you in all that we think, say and do. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Praying you will feel His joy like never before!

Blessings, hugs and love to you,
Debbie

Prayer For Oct 12th

October 12, 2017

Hello, Friends. I’m feeling led to re-post this prayer again today…

Dear Lord,

At times we feel helpless…we feel like we have no real power or ability to make a difference…we see the forces of evil at work and we see the pain that people inflict on each other…we see the devastation brought by disasters…there is so much to be upset about…so much we wish could be stopped or changed…

Help us to not lose sight of the powerful tools you have equipped us with…the bottom line to the division, violence, anger and injustice that is happening in the world is we are not fighting against flesh and blood, we are fighting one real enemy who is behind it all and you have defeated him…the battles are still raging, but the war is already won…help us to keep pressing in and pressing on unto you call us home…

May we be mighty instruments of your love, peace and comfort…help us never to forget that every act of kindness matters…every prayer uttered matters…every time we comfort someone it matters… every time we point the way to you so others can find your hope, it matters…we never know when one kind word might be the word that saves a life…we never know when an act of love or compassion might be the only one a person has received for a very long time…please help us to remember that we are here for a reason…we have a purpose…we are here to be lights in the darkness and bear witness to the truth of who you are.

These are troubling times and it can be overwhelming when we are already dealing with our own grief, loss, adversity or illness… please pour out your grace and comfort…we pray for every hurting heart…for everyone who is dealing with loss and sadness…for everyone who feels like the weight of the world is on their shoulders…for everyone who is anxious, worried and fearful…for everyone who feels discouraged … for everyone who is need of a financial miracle and for all who need physical, emotional or mental healing…may they find hope to hold on till they see your light breaking through..

We pray for protection for all who serve and protect us, Lord…so many put their lives on the line for us daily…please protect them and their families…many innocent lives are being lost around the world for many reasons and it is heartbreaking…we know that in your eyes, every life matters… please bless everyone who is reading this. May they feel your comfort surround them…may they feel secure in the knowledge that you see all and know all and you are still on the throne…we offer you our burdens, Lord and ask for your peace. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

May the Lord bless you and keep you safe from harm friends.

Blessings, hugs and love to you,
Debbie

Prayer For Oct. 11th

October 11, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

We thank you for your light that guides us…for the light that shines on dark days and into the darkest recesses of our heart and minds to fill us with hope …we think of the beacon of light that guides ships into the harbor…what a welcome and comforting sight that light is when all seems uncertain… it brings hope and a sense of peace that everything will be okay …they are reminded they are not alone…that there is someone on watch to guide them…you are our watchtower…our beacon in the night leading us through dark and uncertain waters …your Word says you are the Father of the heavenly lights and you do not change or shift like the shadows…how grateful we are that we can always count on you to be there for us!

Many here are in the midst of storms…they are in uncharted waters and they long for the safety of the known shore…they feel like they are adrift, lost in the midst of pain, change, and loss…  you are so aware of everything each person is feeling and what they are going through…Jesus told us that He is the light of the world and whoever follows Him will not walk in darkness…our dark nights of the soul are only a passage to a more intimate relationship with you…a way to discover your faithfulness …the dark places of grief are not intended to be a place for us to stay…they are only a path to a greater awareness of you…you call us out of the shadows to be called children of the light…you give us so many references in your Word about light and dark…help us to remember…help us to learn more…help us to hunger and thirst for more of you and your knowledge and wisdom so we can see how your Word and truth are applicable to our lives…may your light cast out all fear and be a hope filled beacon to lead and guide us until you call us home.

Thank you for your love and great care for us…many among us don’t see your light at the moment… may they feel confident of  your promise that you will never leave or forsake anyone who calls on you…you are our anchor of hope…nothing seems dark, hopeless or impossible in the light of your glory…may we all find comfort, rest and peace in you this day…we give you all praise, glory and honor for all you have done and all that you will do. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Blessings be upon you friends!

In His love,
Debbie

October 10, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this new day…thank you for the chance to come before you again in prayer. We are grateful that because of Christ’s sacrifice, we can enter in your presence, and in your presence we are changed…in your presence we have fullness of joy….in your presence we are safe from our enemies…in your presence, we find healing…in your presence, we abide under the shadow of your wing…in your presence we find rest…in your presence we find refreshment…in your presence there is peace and comfort. Thank you for these incredible blessings we receive as we fellowship and commune with you.

Father, we ask that as we bow before you in prayer that everything will fade away … may our vision and sense of purpose be renewed and restored so we can press on in the race before us…we ask to receive from you the spiritual gifts you long to give us…help us to grow more confidant in our faith. Help us to live our lives boldly, knowing you walk beside us and uphold us. Help us to die to ourselves…help us to cast off the things that hinder us…help us to let go of the hurtful past…help us to embrace the unknown future as we trust everything is known to you and you promise to lead and guide us…help us to walk the narrow path and not turn to the left or the right…may your light go before us and your love surround us…help us to cast off fear, doubt, confusion, uncertainty, worry, anxiety, and all the things that try to hold us back and pull us down…forgive us of our sins and help us to cast off every sin and temptation that stumbles us …cleanse us from everything that offends you and keeps us  from living the life that you’ve called us to live…please comfort the grieving and heal the afflicted…

As we pray today, we ask for your Holy Spirit to fall upon us.  We thank you for your grace that sustains us…we thank you for your mercy…we thank you for making us holy and blameless through the precious blood of Jesus. We love you  and ask these things in the name Jesus. Amen.

May the Lord bless you abundantly.

Debbie

Prayer For Oct. 9th

October 8, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

We thank you for giving us another day of life…we pray that we will not squander this day.  Please help us to think before we speak and to be slow to anger…help us to respond thoughtfully instead of reacting impulsively… may our words be full of wisdom, kindness and things that will build up and not tear down…may we glorify you in all that we think, say and do.

Sometimes people do not appreciate our efforts, words or actions, but you always do. You are proud when we take the high road and when we do things as unto you. May our response be to pray for those who are difficult, instead of lashing back…we pray to be so full of your Holy Spirit and so focused on you, that nothing can rob us of your peace.

We ask for your help to rise above the irritations and stresses that we may face this week. We ask for focus, clarity and a sense of purpose in all things. Help us to remember that you are in control and you always have our best interest at heart. If something doesn’t happen that we were counting on, help us to stay calm and trust that you allow delays for a reason…sometimes it’s to keep us from harm or from making mistakes, other times it’s so you can give us something better than what we have prayed for.

Help us to see through your eyes…help us to trust you when it makes no sense to trust…you  still make a roadways in the wilderness… You are still the same God who parted the sea…who sent manna from heaven…who had soldiers walk around a wall to defeat a city…you still use the foolish things of the world to confound the wise…you are the God of the incredible, the impossible and the remarkable… may we not get in the way of your miracles…may we wait on you and not push for what we want, but trust you to surprise us with things beyond what we could hope, think, dream or imagine. May our first thoughts in any situation be “your will not mine Lord.”

Father, help us not miss  signs of your presence in our lives.  We offer up our praise to you. We commit this day and every day pg this week into your hands. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen

Blessings be upon you!

Much love in Him,
Debbie
