Prayer For Jan. 13th

January 13, 2018

Hi, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Today we want to lift up children to you….we pray for all the pregnancies that are in trouble. We ask that you would lay your healing hand upon these children and their mother’s and ask that you would meet each need so these babies can be born healthy…

We pray for the children who are dealing with illness, disability and injury. Please put your healing hand upon each one. We ask that you would remove all fear, discomfort and pain. Please grant strength, healing and endurance for the children as well as for their parents… please bring people to stand with them and give wisdom to doctors, therapists and all who work with them so they receive the best care and treatment…please open doors and provide financially and in every way needed.

For all the children who are alone…for all who are abused, bullied, mistreated, hungry, homeless, displaced, neglected, unwanted, unloved or in dangerous situations… we ask for your divine intervention every form of protection, provision and deliverance needed. For all who have no voice, no way of escape and no one to be their advocate, Lord, please make a way where there seems to be no way…may each one feel your nearness and see your hand move on the behalf…

For the children of divorce and for the ones who have lost parents…for all who are dealing with grief, loss or sadness…for all who are struggling with depression, self-harm and the aftermath of traumatic events… For those who are caught up in harmful addictions or lifestyles… please remove bad influences and obstacles and please provide healing, hope, deliverance and restoration as only you can.  For all who don’t know you or who have turned away, please soften their hearts and open their eyes that they might find you…please bring the prodigals home…we pray for restored lives and restored homes and families.

For our children who are in heaven with you Lord, we thank you that one day we will be reunited with them and we praise you that they are safe in your loving arms, free from the cares of this world. Lord, you see each child…you know each by name…there are so many needs, and you know each one before we even ask…we lift our voices collectively and each need that is spoken and unspoken and we thank you in advance for all you will do. In Jesus’ name we ask all these things. Amen

Blessings be upon you and those you love.

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For Jan. 12th

January 12, 2018

Hello, Friends! I’m feeling led to re-post this today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for another day of life…Lord, please help us to not become bogged down with stressful days, problems in relationships and misunderstandings. So often someone who is having a bad day will take out their problems on us and what was just a bad moment, turns into a bad day as we dwell on what happened and then we  end up taking  what happened to us out on someone else in some way…

Lord, help us to love others on the good and bad days…help us to be like Jesus when it’s not easy to…please help us to respond instead of react…help us to be slow to speak and slow to anger…may our words be full of wisdom, mercy, grace and compassion…

Sometimes we are called to advocate for others…to speak up for what is right for our children, a friend or spouse, for an elderly parent or someone you put in our path… sometimes, no matter how hard we try to avoid it, conflict is inevitable… there are times that we try so hard to make our words and actions be kind, yet despite our best efforts and intentions, feelings get hurt or harsh words spoken…relationships become strained…when people get mad or take things wrong, it can be so disheartening… we tried our best to do the right thing and yet things still ended up a mess…

Please help us in our difficult situations and relationships…please do a work in us and through us and help us resolve the issues that need to be worked out with others…teach us when we need to persist in trying to mend relationships and when we need to just pray and walk away…please grant us your wisdom…please comfort us when our hearts are heavy…when we miss what was…when we have trouble accepting what is…when we don’t know what the next step to take should be…when we just want to withdraw from others because our heart is tired of being misunderstood and hurt…please help each of us where we are at with what ever difficulty we might be dealing with…

We take comfort knowing that you go before us…you know our hearts and intentions…you know where we need to improve and you are a faithful Father who never turns anyone away when they ask for help or wisdom. Help us to take responsibility for the things that we can change in our own lives and help us to not take on anything that is not our fault, our responsibility or our problem… We know that you will close doors and open doors… not everyone who comes into our life is meant to stay permanently…please, work, heal, lead, guide, comfort, renew and restore according to your will and in your timing. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen

Blessings be upon you!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For Jan. 11th

January 11, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift to you all who are discouraged because they have yet to see their prayers answered…please reassure them that you have heard every cry and petition… you hear every prayer, no matter how simple or short… the Holy Spirit intercedes so you understand even the silent groans of our hearts when words fail to come… Help us to remember that prayer is about surrendering to your will…it’s letting go of our expectations, care, burdens and desires… it’s praying, “not my will, but your will be done.” Help us to trust in your timing, have faith that you see each need and trust that you love and care even more than we do, for those we are praying for.

Some battles are won on our knees and the battle may be long…help us to have faith that is unshakable and persistent…Your word says the faithful, fervent prayers of a righteous person does much. Help us to not grow weary in praying for others… you never force your will on anyone…you never force people to do the right things… so it may take years for those we pray for to open their eyes and their hearts so you can answer those prayers…it may take years to line up and put in place the answers to our prayers…you are always working behind the scenes always…it’s our job just to be faithful and keep knocking, seeking, interceding, trusting, asking and believing that you will answer our prayers according to your will and in your time…

Lord, we give you our worry, anxiety and fear and we trust everything we are praying for to your hands. We want to find rest as we wait and pray…we give you all of our loved ones and friends and their needs…we place every care and concern in your hands and we surrender to your will… we know you want only the best for us and those we love and you do all things well. We trust that you see the bigger picture…you see what we don’t and you have not just a good plan, but the best plan to work all things together for good for those who love you… we pray that we all will truly feel your peace, as we let go of our expectations and the things we can’t control or are helpless to change. We love you, Lord. We praise you. We thank you that we can come boldly to your throne of grace and ask these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.

May you be filled to overflowing with His peace and comfort!

Much love in Him,
Debbie

Prayer For Jan. 10th

January 10, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Our Father,

We thank you that there are no coincidences with you…you orchestrate things in our lives to bless us, to give us what we need and to fulfill your promises…You have a divine plan in place for each of us before we even take our first breath…things in our lives may take us by surprise, but nothing ever takes you by surprise… even when we stray and go outside your will, you have a plan of redemption in place…thank you for your watchful eye that’s upon us…thank you for your patience with us …thank you for being a loving Father who desires to see us  prosper and grow in your mercy and grace.

Please help us to make better choices…we often forget how every small choice to do, or not do something, impacts us…the outcome of our day can depend on our choice of attitude, the voices we choose to listen to, the choice to watch t.v. or spend time in your Word, to focus more on our wounds instead of our healer, to focus on your promises or our feelings…far too often we have a choice to do something that could help us to cope better or to find peace and we don’t take it…too many times we have rushed around and made you our last priority instead of our first… we often forget or choose not to do the very things that can help us to be victors and triumph over our circumstances.

Lord, please help us to be more like Jesus…may we cling to your truth and your life-giving words today and may we speak life-giving words over ourselves and others…help us to look beyond what we can see or feel and trust you with the things that are not seen…help us to be filled with your hope, joy and peace…help us to keep pressing into you and help us to trust you more…may our eyes be opened to see things with spiritual eyes. May we find time to be still before you so we may hear your voice and grow to know you in new, more intimate ways. In the name of our Savior, Jesus, we pray. Amen

Praying blessings over you always!
In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For Jan. 9th

January 9, 2018

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we gather together today we ask for you to lead and guide us. We pray for wisdom to know your will for our lives. We pray for deliverance for those who are in verbally, emotionally, physically or spiritually abusive relationships. Father, you know the enemy tries to ruin lives any way he can. He knows our weak spots and where we are vulnerable and he is not beyond sending people with the wrong advice or counsel…he is not above making us think that we need to sit and suffer in silence or to make us too afraid to let others know what really goes on behind closed doors and fake smiles. Reveal what is hidden, Lord and deliver those who have had to lead quiet lives of desperation, torment and unseen abuse.

There are many people who have been hurt by the church…many who have been hurt by people who call themselves Christians, but your love is not in them. We pray for healing, Lord…we pray for deliverance from painful memories and harmful situations…may those who are afraid to trust…those who don’t know who to trust… find hope, healing, deliverance and restoration from you…lead them to a body of believers and safe people where they will be accepted, loved and encouraged. Lord, do a work within us and within your church…bring believers together…help us not be divided…help us to not fight and argue over petty differences…help us to be united in your love and give us passion to share that love with the world.

We pray for pastors and everyone who is in ministry and ask for a hedge of protection about them as they serve you… We pray that false teachers will be exposed and removed from places where they can cause damage and lead people astray. Help us to listen to sound doctrine and be well versed in your Word that we might not be deceived…may we continually be drawn close to you and help us to hear your voice above all others.

Please renew the strength  of all who are battle weary and surround them with people who will support them and lift them up. Please do a mighty work in these last days, Lord. Bring healing, hope, renewal, revival and restoration… May we  be faithful in praying for others and especially for the lost who don’t know you. Bind our hearts together as one and help us to serve you well. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen

Praying blessings upon you dear brothers and sisters!

In His love,
Debbie

Prayer For Jan. 8th

January 8, 2018

Hello, Friends! I’m feeling led to re-post this prayer today…

Our Father,

This life is always going to be full of ups and downs and the healing process is full of backwards and forwards steps…please help those who are discouraged today…help each of us remember that you always have a plan and you are still on the throne and working on our behalf… Please give us the stamina we need to persevere and to endure… Grant us your strength and the fortitude to keep putting one foot in front of the other and to keep carrying on…

Please grant us your refreshment ….speak to our hearts and fill us to overflowing with your Spirit. Help us to mount up with wings like eagles. Help us to focus on you and rise above our pain and difficult circumstances…Help us to find rest so we can regroup and try again for a better day tomorrow…

Please be with those we love…we ask for our friends and loved ones, all the things that we pray for ourselves…may we all find joy in you and see you in the midst of our trials and struggles…may we find your strength and energy to keep running the race before us…may we find comfort and peace in your promises to provide and to meet our needs… May we share each others burdens and help carry each other’s heavy loads… may we find relief and release  as we give over all of our burdens to you…help us to let go of the heavy things you never intended for us to carry.

We praise you for your infinite grace, mercy and compassion… thank you for your love that you lavish upon us…how wonderful it is to know that we can always count on you…thank you for  seeing us…for knowing us…for being concerned about every aspect and detail of our lives…life is hard, but you are good and so faithful…thank you for being with us and for us. In the name of our Savior Jesus we ask these things. Amen

Praying you will feel His nearness, comfort and peace!

Much love In Him,

Prayer For Jan. 7th

January 7, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for knowing what is deep in our hearts…our desires…our fears…our insecurities…our failures…we thank you for your patience, your mercy, your compassion and kindness…Father, please take  away anything in our lives that is not helpful,  healthy, or productive. Please show us anything in our lives that draws us away from you. Help us to pay attention to what thoughts we entertain and help us to take every thought captive and to weigh them in light of your Word and truth.

Help us not to be consumed with worry, fear, grief, anxiety or negative thoughts. Help us to be rid of any sinful actions or thoughts that we think are just normal and innocent, but are actually harmful… help us to not be conformed to this world. Please renew our minds and make us more like Christ. You tell us that you give wisdom and understanding  to those who seek it…you tell us to cry out for  your understanding, insight and wisdom and to seek it as if we were looking for hidden treasure…

Please take all that we are, all that we hope to be, all that we want in this life…we offer up these things to you… please don’t let us waste what precious time we have on things that don’t matter or that aren’t your best for us… may we hear your voice above all others…may your Holy Spirit convict us, lead us, prompt us and stir within us the direction we need to go and the paths we need to be on. Soften our hearts, Lord…help us  to be teachable and pliable in your hands…help us not to struggle against you…may our hearts hunger, thirst and long for the things of you and not the things of this world…

Please help us to make the most of our days and to take nothing for granted. Make us hungry for more of you.  Please use us…use all that we’ve been through for your glory. May people see you in us.  May we trust you and love you more with each passing day. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen

Blessings be upon you friends!

In His love,
Debbie
