Hello, Everyone! Here is the prayer for  today…

Dear Lord,

We thank you for the prayers that you’ve answered among us. We thank you that you are working in our lives. We ask that you would be in our midst now Lord, as we gather in your name.

Father, I know there are multiple people with us who have lost loved ones recently…we ask for your comfort to be with each grieving heart. We pray for everyone who is hurting and ill…for those who are struggling or losing their physical battles…Lord we ask for comfort and strength and we ask that you hold each one up, even as they feel they are falling apart and can’t make it on their own. Lord, we ask that you hold closely and tenderly, all those who are overwhelmed and anxious.

You tell us to ask, seek and knock and to have persistent faith…so Lord we are once again asking for jobs for those in need… and for money to pay the rent and mortgages and we ask for provision for those who are struggling to have the basics of life that most take for granted. We ask for money for medical procedures and needed medicines. We ask for gas money to get to the places that are needed. We ask for the money for car repairs that are needed and we ask for cars for those who  have no transportation. Lord, we know that everything belongs to you and that nothing is too hard to you. So, Lord we are asking in faith, without question or wavering, that you will provide for each person in need and that you will meet each need according to your will, your time and with your riches in glory.

Lord, we look at this picture and we know that from up above the water, everything looks very different from  below. It is the same way with our lives and perceptions of things. We think we know how things are from our  limited view on the surface, but there is always so much more that you’ve yet to show  us. There is beauty buried in our pain and our problems that we can’t see from our current vantage point. There is a depth to your love and compassion for us that we have not discovered yet.

Lord, help us to change our thinking. Expand our knowledge. May we be filled with curiosity and a sense of wonder, even in the middle of adverse circumstances…may we live with expectation of all that awaits us that will strengthen our faith and show your love for us. Lord, I know we will be so surprised when you show us the bigger picture to everything that has transpired in our lives. What a different perspective we will have of things when we step over the threshold of eternity. Help us to always keep in mind, that this is not our home and we are just passing through.

You are Holy Lord and so worthy of our praise. We bless your name today for all that is to be revealed and the glory that is to come. In Jesus name we pray, Amen

Much love to you my dear brothers and sisters!
In Him,
Debbie
