Prayer For March 30th

March 30, 2016

prayer from Debbie Kay, Hope For The Broken Hearted

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

You  tell us in your Word that you will renew and sustain us until we are old with age. You are continually working in us, even as our bodies are fading… you have a plan and a purpose for us…and you will sustain us and care for us until we have fulfilled all that you have called us to do…please help us to hear your voice…please give us your wisdom…please show us how to be the people who you’ve called us to be…create in us a clean heart, Lord…create in us a hunger and thirst for your Word…help us to long for a deeper and more intimate relationship with you… help us to come to know you in new ways…help us to fall more and more in love with you, Lord…help us to be people of passion who live life with a sense of urgency to make the most of our days so we don’t waste them…please help our relationship with you to not grow cold or stagnant…may you be our first thought when we wake and the last thought before we go to sleep at night…fill our dreams with thoughts of you and speak to us, Lord…teach us and show us of the unspeakable things that we can’t imagine. May we be filled with awe and wonder when we think of you…may we carry the thoughts of your death and resurrection with us daily…may we remember every morning when we awake that Christ is alive and He is living in us…may we pray and live with a sense of expectancy because you are faithful and your Word is true…You are who you say you are and your Word will not return void…
Lead and guide us today and every day, Lord so we do not go astray …order our days and our lives…help us to trust that if we run into delays or setbacks that there is a reason…delays are not denials…they are often for our protection and benefit…help us to trust beyond what we can see…take our burdens and cares from us…we lay them at your feet…take our pain and anxious, worried thoughts and fill us to overflowing with your peace…we ask you to fill us with your Holy Spirit and do a work in every area of our lives, Lord. We surrender to you all the things that hold us back and weigh us down. We love you, Lord and we are so grateful for you. We thank you that we can come to you in prayer through Christ our Risen Savior and ask these things in His name. Amen

God Bless You Friends!

Much love in Him,
Debbie
