Prayer For May 18th

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Today we come before you to lift up all who are struggling financially…we ask that you would open doors for all who need jobs… please go before them, Lord…open up the perfect job  for them. For those who have unexpected needs…things that have broken and need repair… unexpected bills or medical needs…Lord,  you know those who struggle just to meet their basic needs… you know and see every burden …  we ask for your help and divine intervention… You are our Jehovah Jireh who takes what little we have and turns it into more than enough.  Please increase faith… Give us the faith we need to trust that you will provide…everything you allow has a reason…nothing takes you by surprise… you are still the God who does miracles and you love to show yourself strong in the midst of our struggles… Help us to take the bold leap of faith that allow us to rest instead of worry, and have faith instead of fear.

Help us to not feel overwhelmed by the negativity and troubling things that we see and hear in the news…help us turn our worry time to prayer time…we pray for our leaders, we pray for those in ministry…we pray for revival and for blind eyes to see and hard hearts to be softened and open to your truth…help us to be lights and salt in the world, Lord…we pray  for every believer…the enemy would love to sideline us with problems so we are too distracted to share with others…so we are too focused on our own situations that we are unable to help or pray for others who also are having difficulties…Lord, please move among us…

For those who are having difficulties in relationships, please be the mediator and counselor … Please bring your peace into troubled relationships and broken lives…please restore what the enemy has taken… Heal marriages, Lord. Restore families and friendships…give us wisdom to know when to speak, and when to be silent…when to stand and fight and when to leave the battle to you…help us to be diligent, prayer warriors … please bring healing and new life. Please fill all the hearts that have felt numb and empty with your joy…

We ask for your strength and energy for all we face. We ask, Lord that you would watch over our family and friends. Lead, guide and protect them. Please open the eyes of those who don’t know you. Thank you Lord for understanding when our hearts are heavy…we thank you for your patience with us and your compassion, grace and mercy. Lord, we bow before you and give you all praise, glory and honor.  We love you, Lord and we offer up our lives to you. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen
