Prayer For June 9th

June 9, 2016

mountains

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

We thank you for seeing us through this week. We thank you for your presence in our lives. We thank you for your provision and strength. Lord, we pray that you would make our lives as calm and peaceful on the inside as this picture…may we be at peace no matter what is going on around us…Lord, please help us through our stressful situations and with our difficult relationships…help us to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves…help us to give grace to others, as you give to us…help us to see the sandpaper people in our lives as you see them…may we turn our times of anger into times of prayer…may we not let other people’s problems become our own…help us to keep wise boundaries that protect us from stress and being victim to those who would cause constant strife in our lives…please give us wisdom, Lord…help us break unhealthy cycles, unhealthy habits, unhealthy ways of coping and dealing with things….please help us to find ways to help ourselves  so we can live a life of balance in every area of our lives…Lord, you know where each of us are at…each area where we need help…each area where we need to cut back and every area we need to improve…please help us to be teachable and open to new things and new ways of doing things…help us to not become stagnant…help us to keep moving and growing so we can become all that you want us to be… please do a new work in each of us…may our trials and the changes in our lives be like a genesis moment …may we see times of change as a time where you are perfecting us to be like Jesus…a time to be re-directed…help us to see everything through your eyes and with a higher purpose…help us to rise up and to rise above our difficult circumstances…

We thank you, Lord that nothing is wasted in our lives…that even when things seem dark and hopeless they are not…we thank you even though we see splashes of hell in this life, we also see splashes of your glory…we thank you that we have victory through Jesus…we thank you for the hope we have through our Savior…we thank you for making us more than conquerors, more than our pasts, more than what has been said or done to us…more than what we have or lack…we are more than what we think we are…help us to see the possibilities in the midst of the struggles…help us to see and remember that you are always working in realms that we can’t see…we are surrounded by angel armies…help us to rise up with hope today…help us  to live with expectation of the good things you will do…help us, Lord to bring glory and honor to you in all things and to be vessels in your hands to bring hope, love and the good news of the gospel to those around us today. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen

May you be filled to overflowing with His love, joy and peace today and always!

In His love,
Debbie

Thank you. This is the perfect prayer for me today. May I attribute and quote excerpts within my blog post (preparing now and this weekend)? Previous postings can be found at address below. Want permission before using. Will attribute both to you Debbie as Author and to Hope for Broken Hearted ministry, however you would prefer. Thank you for your ministry, and prayers. They have aided me so many times in past and again today. God bless you.
