Prayer For Sept. 16th

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the many ways you protect us and look out for us. We will never know this side of heaven how many things you have protected us from without us knowing. We won’t know until we see you face to face how many obstacles, closed doors, delays, and setbacks we have encountered that were your way of protecting us. We often forget that you bless us not only in what you give but in what you hold back as well. Please forgive us when we have been impatient or questioned your will and your ways. Thank you for the seen and unseen ways you have blessed our lives.

Please help us let go of our ideas of how we think things should be done and how things should be. Help us let go of what was and what can’t be. Please help us not to desire or cling to anything you have already delivered and set us free from. Sometimes our minds are a battlefield, and we’re our own worst enemies. Please help us let go of things that aren’t your best for us. Please help us to be diligent and consistent in doing things we know can help us become healthier, stronger, and wiser spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, relationally, and financially.

Please help us, so an attitude of gratitude becomes as natural to us as breathing. Help us find joy in little things and take nothing for granted. Please help us, so we always seek the good in the bad and have a biblically positive outlook. May we carry with us every day of our lives the glorious truth that our Savior is alive, death is defeated, and we are yours, and you are ours.

“Thank you” seems inadequate, but we are grateful for all you are, all you do, and all that is to come. We give you all praise, glory, and honor, and thank you for our Savior Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen.
